Who this policy covers
This policy explains how SiteCal ("we", "us", "SiteCal") collects, uses and protects information when you use sitecal.io and the SiteCal application at app.sitecal.io. SiteCal is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME / ABN], based in Melbourne, Australia.
What we collect
We collect information you give us directly, and a small amount generated by using the product:
- Account details — your name, email address, company name and password when you sign up.
- Project data — the schedules, tasks, dates, notes and project details you create in SiteCal.
- Trade & contact details — names and email addresses of trades or contacts you add to a project, so schedules and updates can be sent to them. Trades don't need an account and don't log in.
- Billing information — handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe. SiteCal does not receive or store your card details; we retain only what's needed to manage your subscription (plan, billing status, invoice history).
- Usage data — basic technical information (device, browser, general location, pages visited) collected automatically to keep the product working reliably and to understand how it's used.
How we use it
- To provide and run the scheduling service you've signed up for.
- To send schedule-related notifications to trades and contacts you've chosen to include, where you've enabled that.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To provide support when you contact us.
- To improve SiteCal — understanding what's used and what isn't.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations (e.g. GST record-keeping).
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
We only share information with the services that help us run SiteCal, and only as needed to provide it:
- Stripe — payment processing.

Data storage & security

How long we keep it
We retain your account and project data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we'll delete or de-identify your data within [TIMEFRAME], except where we're required to retain records for legal, tax or accounting purposes.
